The Major Causes

Pimples on forehead can be caused by so many reasons and also so many factors.

  • Clogged pores. One of the major causes of pimples is clogged pores. When the dead skin cells are mixed with grime, dirt, and excessive oil, they can block the pores, creating a perfect environment where bacteria can grow.
  • Dandruff within the hair. Dandruff is actually a skin infection. And since the forehead is the closest barrier to the hair, forehead is prone for the infection.
  • Oily scalp. It is similar to the previous cause where the oil can affect the forehead area, resulting in pimples.
  • Poor hygiene. If you have poor hygiene where you don’t wash or cleanse your face before going to bed or after you get out of the house, the dirt can be piled on your skin.
  • Hormones and medications. Certain medicines may activate the sebum production to be overly active. Meanwhile, hormonal issues can also lead to the issue, causing you to suffer from pimples.

Treatments and Solutions

The problem with pimples on forehead isn’t something impossible. You can choose over the counter medications or home remedy recipes. If you’d like to try the home remedy solutions, here are some of the recipes.

  • Clay mask. You can mix rose water and clay powder. Add several drops of lavender or tea tree oil – these oils have natural anti bacterial traits that will help with the pimples. Once it forms a paste, apply it on your forehead and let it be for 15 minutes. Once it dries off, wash your face with water. Do this once a day.
  • Apple cider vinegar. Clean the forehead first. Dip a cotton ball or swab within the apple cider vinegar and apply it directly on the pimple. Just leave it dry. It is up to you to leave it or to wash it off after 20 minutes. You can do this about twice a day.

There are more alternative to try. If you are doubtful, you can always go to the doctor and discuss the best option. In short, no need to over worry about pimples on forehead as long as you know what to do and expect.
